An Event Where Strong Women Meet: Impressive Women in Companies’22

Impressive Women in Companies'22 is the second big hall event organized by IEEE MCBU Women in Engineering this year. Our biggest goal while creating this event was to show that the success of women in the sector is too great to be underestimated and to share the unity and solidarity created by women with our participants through our speakers who participated in our event. In this context, the topics covered areas such as entrepreneurship and its types, digital content production, game development in our event.

In order for our event to attract a large audience, we first started our work by forming our team. Together with our WIE coordination team consisting of 11 members and community active members who support us from the outside, we worked with great effort and dedication to realize our event in the best way possible.

According to our planning, we carried out our event to last one day. As per the meaning of the day, we invited successful people in different fields in order to appeal to everyone's interests and with the sponsorship of Yves Rocher, we set up a stall in our event area. In the sessions, we listened to our speakers' journeys to success, the difficulties they experienced as a woman at work and in their social environment, and how they overcame them via presentations they prepared for us. We are happy to bring together our guests and participants with our mission in every session. We ended an unforgettable event with the drawings we made with our sponsors who supported us in our events throughout the day, and the photographs taken by our participants as a memory of IWC.

Our aim is to take IWC further each year than the previous one. We believe that we will do this together with you in the best way possible.
